PRIMA X
PRIMA –X is Electrophoretic lacquer specially design as low cost lacquer for Hinges, Bells, Latches and etc. This lacquer constitutes of PU + Hardener + Acrylic Lacquer. Therefor it is the robust product for Dye Lacquering of hardware item. The Lacquer is blended at 35 % solids with Non Volatile content of 30%. The required ratio for making bath at the solids of 10 is 330 gm Lacquer and 660 gm De mineralized water for 1 liter Bath preparation with Refractive index of 15° plus. This product has some special advantage that gives the DFT of 27.2 micron at voltage of 65 V and 25 Seconds during lacquering on rectifier. The oven curing done at 150° to 55 minutes. The product has excellent hardness around 6H and the gloss of 98%. The maximum ADRT (All Durability Test Results) achieved is 92%. For trouble free working and smooth finishing. It is advisable to use AP-Solvay on lacquer addition to running tank. Do not add extra solvents/ AP-Solvay in fresh tank.
SLX PRO
SLX PRO is Electrophoretic lacquer for clear coat on Hardware items. No matters the base material is Zesta. Iron, Aluminum, Brass or what ever it is. The glossy finish with extra smoothness is the unique speciality of the product. The Refractive Index required for running the tank is more than 12 degree. SLX PRO gives the heavy coating thickness 15.8 DFT. The coating parameters is 65 volts & 25 seconds and oven stoving 150° for 55 minutes. ADRT-All Durability Resistance Test is 80% at gloss 96%. The Lacquer is blended at 49% solids and Non Volatile content at 44%
SLX PRIME
SLX PRIME is blended with the perfect combination of PU ( Polyurethane ), Hardener and Acrylic Lacquer. It is perfectly designed at the solids of 51% and non volatile contents of 46%, so as to match acute price competition of market. SLX Prime is right solution to dye (any colour) lacquering the Handle, Doors or any other Hardware’s. Extra long lasting gloss with high density colour ( Gold, Rose Gold, Brown, Chocolate etc) is unique property of this electrophoretic lacquer. The bath ratio is 22:78 for bath solids of 10 degrees & Refractive index at 16 degree. That for 1 liter solution 220 gm SLX Prime &780 gm demineralized water with the addition of SMG CoateX Dye. On keeping the rectifier voltage at 65 and giving the timing of 25 seconds with the Oven stoving of 150° & 60 minutes the derived result are excellent. The coating thickness is 13 micron, gloss 97% and ADRT (All Durability Resistance Test ) 83%. The pencil hardness we got is of 8H. Which is an out going performance of the product.
GLOSTER Lx-54
GLOSTER Lx- 54 is a 59% high solid Hardware Lacquer for clear & Dye coating. The non volatile content is 54%. It is compatible to mix with other low solid Lacquers (Prima X, SLX Pro & SLX Prime) to give a prefect match, so as to increase the average production. This product is blended with Polyurethane PU & Hardener. GLOSTER Lx-54 gives skinny Glossy finish with a hard core ADRT of 95% over the substrate. The test result checked at the bath solids of 10 degree, by mixing ratio of 20 lacquer: 80 De-mineralized water. 15 degree plus is the out come Refractive Index of the bath solution. On lacquering the substrate at the voltage of 65 for 25 seconds. And oven stoving at 150°, 60 minutes the derived results are excellent- Gloss 99% , Pencil hardness 9H & Coating thickness 15.5 DFT.
CED BLACK
CED Black is a high-performance cathodic electrodeposition coating. It forms a smooth, consistent black finish with strong adhesion and controlled film build, ensuring reliable performance on complex shapes and sharp edges. The coating is widely used for agricultural equipment and irrigation pipe attachments, MS sprinklers, industrial and automobile components, metal clips, joints, tools, and general hardware. Its uniform coating ability makes it suitable for components requiring complete and consistent protection under harsh and abrasive operating conditions. Compared to conventional powder coating, CED Black offers clear advantages, as powder coating typically requires curing at 200°C for 60 minutes, whereas CED Black cures effectively at a lower temperature of 150°C for 60 minutes. CED Black provides excellent adhesion and film integrity, significantly reducing chipping and coating failure as compared to Powder coating. CED Black is cost-effective and well suited for mass production. It is the best coating option for nuts, bolts, threaded parts, and components with movement, as its thread-friendly formulation allows smooth nut and bolt engagement without thread blockage or jamming, ensuring easy assembly and dimensional accuracy. CED Black offers salt spray test of 350–450 hours, depending on surface preparation. No extra plating is required, as it can be applied directly on mild steel substrates, provided the surface is free from rust, oil, and contaminants. With its durable black appearance and reliable functional performance, CED Black is a trusted coating solution for agricultural, industrial, and automotive metal components.
